3 Pound Packages $150.00 plus tax
We will offer 3 Pound Packages from 2 different suppliers this year. Queens will be either Italian or Corniolan, based on availability at the time they are shipped to us. Spring time weather dictates the ability for our suppliers to get well mated queens. At this point packages are scheduled between the middle of April and first week of May. We will update a definite delivery date as we get closer to April. We require a $50.00 deposit per package when ordering.
5 Frame Nucleus Colonies NUC's $200.00 plus tax
NUC's are five deep frames they will come in a plastic pro NUC box. NUC's will have a proven laying queen with 5 frames consisting of brood in all stages, pollen and honey stores for the bees. Availability on this year's NUC's will be between the 2nd and 3rd week in June and will have a mated Indiana Queen, grafted from our stock. Availability is limited, first come, first serve. Call today to have your name put on our list.
Indiana Queens $45.00 plus tax
The queens will be bread from Indiana survivor stock. They show hygienic traits, gentleness, overwinter well, and good honey producers. We are currently taking orders for new season queens on a first come, first serve basis. If you would like to have your name on the list please call ASAP. We will have a limited number available for the 2020 season.
B Funnel $15.00
The B-funnel channels the bees directly into the hive reducing the amount of bees in the air. It's made of corrugated plastic with Velcro straps that hold it directly against the hive to allow the bees to find their new home with less stress on them. Once the bees have found their new home and all have left the packaged box this funnel can be removed.
POLICIES FOR LIVE BEES
We do not ship live bees. They will need to be picked up at our shop. You will be notified by phone and e-mail prior to their arrival. The pick up dates will be confirmed on our web site closer to the arrival dates. Plan on bringing an air-conditioned vehicle in hot weather we are not responsible for over heated bees, your install methods, existing queens in your hive, failure of bees to release queen, failure of bee keeper to install in a timely manner or any other beekeeping practices. However, we will honor all queens damaged or deceased upon arrival, but you must contact us immediately. Any delay and the Queen becomes your responsibility.
